Learn to Dive

There's no greater adventure than diving! Whether you're taking your first look at diving, or whether you've been diving for 20 years, there's always something new, fascinating or challenging about venturing into the underwater world.  Your mind may be mesmerized by clouds of colorful fish, your curiosity raised by the mysterious remains of sunken ships or your creativity awakened by the art of underwater photography.  Your diving interests may range from a casual pastime pursued on vacation, to a constant passion - even a career.  Diving offers something for everyone.

ScubaVentures is a PADI dive shop as well as a certified member of the National Instructors Association of Divers with Disabilities [NIADD].  We are sensitive to the needs and special requirements of the physically challenge and offer one-to-one instruction for divers.  Our dive masters and instructors are paired with divers with needs to ensure they will be able to enjoy diving like all other do under water.

The fun of diving starts when you enter the PADI Open Water Diver course, which teaches the basics of enjoyable, safe diving through pool and class sessions, plus exciting dives at a popular Seagrove dives sites under the guidance of your PADI Instructor.  It's the world's most popular beginning diver course.  We also specialty and professional certification courses.

 

Don’t let the words classroom scare you. Classroom activities can easily be done at home with the PADI CD-ROM or through normal class time. In the class room you will develop the knowledge needed to understand the concept, Regulations and safety aspects of scuba diving. The classroom is also your first step in the familiarity and hands on training with scuba equipment. By the end of your classroom work, the excitement of finally getting in the water, leads you to your next phase.

   

In simple words, this part of your training is awesome. In the pool phase, (which can also be completed in 4 short sessions), you and your instructor will practice and develop the water skills needed to comfortably and safely enjoy scuba diving for years to come. You will be amazed at how easy and safe scuba diving actually is. Now! As if that's not exciting enough, just wait.

   

This is where you see and do things you’ve only dreamed of. Scuba is a great adventure to be shared over and over again without ever having the excitement end. You and your instructor go over the skills you developed in the pool phase during open water dives. This phase is generally completed in just two days. After the successful completion of the last open water dive, you will be awarded your certification card good for a lifetime of fun and enjoyment. The PADI Open Water card will be recognized all over the world as a certification that you are a safe and properly trained scuba diver.
